You probably sat and watched in amazement as Russia beat Spain yesterday, and that does of course mean that the Spanish team are now packing their bags and heading home, whilst the host nation is through to the next stage of the World Cup!
The Group Stages and the 2nd round matches have so far proven to be quite tricky matches for punters to try and pick the winners of, for there have been plenty of completely unexpected results.
However, if you have been backing some of the outsiders to win those matches then I am sure you will be sitting on some healthy profits currently, and today and tomorrow there are four more 2nd round matches that you can bet on too.
The first match that will be kicking off today is of course the match between Brazil and Mexico, and whilst Brazil are on offer at 1/2 to win that match, I wouldn’t put you off backing Mexico at 7/1 for the way some of these matches have been going they may just win.
In fact if you want to bet on the match ending in a draw after 90 minutes of play time then the odds on that possible outcome ate 16/5.
Belgium vs Japan
You would have been a reckless punter if you had bet on Japan to get through to the 2nd round stage of this year’s World Cup, however it is often punters that do throw caution to the win that will win big, and Japan have of course made it through to this stage of the tournament.
Therefore never underestimate their chances of winning in the second match being played today in which Japan will be taking on the might of the Belgium team, but Belgium are the odds-on favourite to win that match at 4/11, you can get odds of 4/1 about the draw and for those of you wishing to keep the faith in Japan their win odds are 9/1.
Tomorrows 2nd Round Matches
One fairly well balanced match that is being played tomorrow on the 3rd of July 2018 is the match in which Sweden are hoping to beat Switzerland, there is though no telling as to the way that match may end!
However, if you do think that Sweden are going to have the upper hand and will win that match their win odds are currently around the 21/20 mark, the draw is available at odds of 2/1 and Switzerland are not without a chance of winning and their odds o winning this match are reasonable at 17/10.
The last match of the day tomorrow is probably going to be the one that will attract the bigger audience count for it is Colombia that will be taking on England and many punters are going to be backing England to win that match.
The odds on the match are 3/1 on Colombia winning, 23/10 on the draw and the best odds I have so far come across on an England win are 11/10.
