It would appear that regarding the betting currently taking place on the outright winner of the British Speedway Grand Prix, the smart money, and lots of it too is being placed on Kai Woffinden to take the title this year.
In fact, so much interest has been shown in that young rider that his odds are currently as low as 11/4 at most betting sites, and if he is a rider you do fancy winning then you will need to act quickly if you are to secure those odds.
However, if you are a fan of speedway in general, then you will not need me to tell you that anything can, and often does happen in events such as the Grand Prix, and as such you may be interested in placing a bet here and there on a few other riders, who do posses the skill and talent to win a race of this nature.
If so, the current joint favourites to win it are Frederik Lindgren ad Maciej Janowski who are both trading at odds of around the 6/21 mark, and the next rider chalked up on many betting boards is Bartosz Zmarzlik who does look appealing at 7/1.
Also consider riders such as Jason Doyle for it would not be a surprise to see him win the British Speedway Grand Prix this year and you can back him at many betting sites at odds of around 8/1!
Each Way Betting Opportunities
Betting with Betfred is going to see you being able to place an each-way bet and get rewarded with one quarter of the win odds if any rider you choose to win finishes in first, second or third place, you get those odds on the place part of such a bet and if your chosen rider wins you are paid out at the full win odds.
You may therefore be interested in backing Emil Saifutdinov, Emil or Artem Laguta each-way at 14/1, or go for a potentially bigger pay-out with Greg Hancock or Robert Lambert at odds of 16/1, or even back Nicki Pedersen or Patryk Dudek at 20/1!
High Risk Bets
The general rule of betting dictates that the higher the odds being offered to you on any betting opportunity, the lower the chances of that bet being a winning one, however many punters are never afraid of throwing caution to the wind especially when betting on speedway events.
Experience will have taught such punters that even some of the rank outsiders could go on to win any event, and with that in mind let me now quickly give you an insight into just which riders have the very highest odds attached to them currently.
One rider that has been attracting some money on the betting markets is Chris Holder and his odds have just dropped down from 33/1 to 25/1, Matej Zagar is 33/1 and there may be a few punters out there willing to risk a wager on Martin Vaculik at his current huge odds of 66/1!
The only other riders I have not yet mentioned are Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Craig Cook and both of them are available at huge odds of 100/1!
